Pageant Results
The Annual Miss Shamrock Pageant was held March 12 in Corrigan Hall.  From a talented group of deserving participants, the judges choose these young lasses to honor the festivities of the 2000 St. Patrick's Celebration:

2000 Miss Shamrock is Courtney Thu, 17 year old Junior from Ruthven-Ayrshire High School. She is the daughter of Craig & Karen Thu of Ruthven. Courtney performed a vocal selection entitled "This is the Moment" from the musical Jekyll & Hyde. Courtney is active in Chorus, Swing Choir, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Volleyball, Basketball Cheerleading, Golf, Drill Team, Group & Individual Speech, One Act Plays & Three Act Plays.

2000 1st Runner-up is Sally Bruhn, 18 year old Senior at Emmetsburg High School. Sally is the daughter of Steve & Sue Bruhn of Fenton, Iowa.

2000 2nd Runner-up is Tracy Schuller, 18 year old Senior at West Bend-Mallard High School. Tracy is the daughter of Kevin & Annette Schuller of Mallard, Iowa. Tracy was also chose Miss Congeniality for the 2000 Miss Shamrock Pageant.

2000 Little Miss Shamrock is Aleysha Schutz, 6, daughter of Bill & Missy Schutz of Emmetsburg. Aleysha sang a selection entitled "Obedient".

2000 Little Lassie is Heather Klein, 11, daughter of Dave & Janet Klein of Hospers, Iowa. Heather performed an Irish Dance.

2000 Irish Miss is Nicole Voetmann, 13, daughter of Jim & Kay Voetmann of Ringsted, Iowa. Nicole performed a clog dance to "Wild & Free".
